Dr. Ralph Brock II
President
Howdy y’all?
I’m Ralph Brock. I am your Texas Association of Orthodontists president for 24-25. Super excited for this year and all the things we’re going to accomplish. And I am so fortunate to have such a great team of fellow orthodontists on the board with me.
Our mission as a TAO is to maintain the highest standards of orthodontic care for the benefit and well-being of our patients throughout the state of Texas. We are also dedicated to advocating for our members and providing services that benefit their pursuit of professional excellence.
So what’s in it for you? You have professional development and leadership opportunities to collaborate both clinically and professionally. You have opportunities to advocate for laws affecting your patients, your profession, and your community. You have access to member resources, things that would help you in your own practice as far as management and law. You have exposure through the TAO directory and through social media, which is going to help hype up not only the orthodontist in Texas but the patients that you serve. You also have networking opportunities at events or by serving on committees through the TAO. In addition, you can contribute to the collective advancement of the profession of orthodontics by being actively involved in your TAO.
As a TAO member, remember, one of your advantages is that people can see you through our directory. So what I need you to do, please, is go to the directory, texasortho.org. You can look up your practice, your name. We want to make sure all that information is correct, that they know how to reach you, how they know how to get in touch with you, that they have all the updated information so that we can get the right patient to the right orthodontist.
As a member of orthodontists in the TAO, we want you to connect with us on social media. On that social media outlet, you have the website, you have Instagram, you have Facebook, you have so many outlets where we’re going to make sure there’s information of the benefits of orthodontics, who’s performing at orthodontics as far as spotlights for different orthodontics each month or different times throughout the month. And so we want to highlight you, we want to highlight orthodontics, we want to make sure we highlight all the great things we’re doing in the state of Texas.
So as the president of the Texas Association of Orthodontists, I thank you. I thank you for your contributions to this profession. I thank you for being an active part in your community and helping the people and serving the people where you are. With your help, we can ensure the best orthodontic practices are taken care of in our practices and for our patients. And that is all to ensure that the future of our profession is bright.
