I love the communication aspect of orthodontics. The conversations between patients, parents, and myself broaden my world and make me smile. I enjoy encouraging each patient in the midst of their treatment, helping build their self-esteem while becoming their friend. I want each of my patients to look back on their care experience as a positive event in their life, one which resulted in a lasting, beautiful smile.
I became an orthodontist because I enjoy the combination of intellectual and manual dexterity required to produce excellent clinical and aesthetic results. I’m a problem-solver, and each patient’s unique malocclusion presents a challenge. I need to figure out how to properly align their teeth, and I must create a smile that is attractive and will serve the patient well, for the rest of their life.
