Dr. Robert Montoya received his Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, before attending the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio. He graduated in the top of his class and was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the honorary dental society. Dr. Montoya then entered the orthodontic residency program of the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston, where he was involved in research and earned his Certificate of Orthodontics in 1982. He is a member of American Association of Orthodontics and Southwest Society of Orthodontics.
Dr. Montoya has been in private practice for over 30 years, beginning in North Richland Hills, and moving the practice to Keller in 2006. He and his wife have been married for over 25 years and have two sons. He enjoys hockey, jogging, back yard grilling, traveling, and spending time with his family. Dr. Montoya is excited to welcome new families to the practice and feels especially privileged to treat patients that are second generation.
