Dr. Maryam Mojdehi-Barnes has been delivering outstanding orthodontic care since 1999. After graduating as the Valedictorian from Valley Baptist Academy High School in Harlingen, Texas, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Texas A&M University in College Station, with Summa Cum Laude honors. She attended dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry (Texas A&M College of Dentistry) in Dallas, where she graduated Valedictorian (1st out of 97). She continued on at Baylor College of Dentistry, one of the top orthodontic residency programs in the world, to receive both a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes was the sole recipient of the prestigious Faculty Achievement Award and Texas Association of Orthodontists’ Outstanding Senior Resident Award from Baylor College of Dentistry’s orthodontic program.
Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes served as a part-time clinical professor at Baylor Orthodontic residency program for about 3 years. In addition, Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes is one of the few orthodontists certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and an active member of:
