Joseph Giasi
Dr. Joseph Giasi was raised in a small farming town of upstate New York where he worked on his family’s vineyard until he left for Cornell University, graduating with an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences.
He then went on to attend the Columbia University School of Dental Medicine, an internationally-renowned school, to pursue his degree in dentistry (DDS). In 2001, Dr. Giasi graduated from Columbia University as one of the top students in his class and as an inductee into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. From here, he went on to the orthodontic residency program at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Like Cornell and Columbia University, UCSF is also a world-renowned institution for training excellent clinicians. During his three years of orthodontic training, he was under the guidance of many renowned orthodontists and learned effective treatment strategies for various orthodontic issues. In 2004, he completed his Orthodontic Residency at UCSF with a Master of Science degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences.
After completing his orthodontic specialty training, Dr. Giasi served as a Major in the United States Army and was the Head Residency Instructor of Orthodontics at Ft. Hood for three years. Since 2005, Dr. Giasi has treated thousands in the Austin and Round Rock areas. Dr. Giasi was honorably discharged from the Army Reserves in 2011 and is a proud supporter of our troops.
